Residential Window Cleaning
How much does it cost to have my windows professionally cleaned?
Window cleaning prices vary depending on the type of windows you have. Typically prices start at $99. Other factors include: how long it has been since your previous (if any) professional window cleaning, how many windows you have, and anticipated time it will take to clean the windows. Over-spray paint removal is typically extra because it takes longer to use precise cleaning techniques to insure that the glass is being cleaned both safely, and efficiently. Casey will come out to your home for a free estimate and will walk you through the process.
Does a professional window cleaning include the inside of my windows, or just the exterior?
We can, and certainly recommend cleaning both, but it is whichever you prefer. Casey, as well as our technicians, work carefully and safely on the interior of your home.
Are your cleaning products safe?
100% biodegradable yet strong enough to save wildlife. A little Dawn goes a long way.
How often should I clean my windows?
Most of our customers are serviced twice a year. We do have customers who we service three to four times a year. We also offer what we call our “Showcase Service” which allows you to pick which windows you would like to be serviced regularly throughout the year. Starting at $99 per clean, we will service up to 30 standard or 15 double hung exterior windows, four times a year. We also offer discounts based on frequency. If you have your windows serviced twice a year, you get a 5% discount. If you add additional services to your window cleaning, i.e. gutter cleaning or pressure washing, you will get 10% off your entire service.
Does the weather affect the service?
This is Indiana so the short answer is yes. A light rain will not affect our service or your windows but a heavy rain will. It’s not so much rain that we are concerned with as it is lighting. Our aluminum ladders are great conductors in a thunderstorm and to be quite honest, we’d rather not prove it. Rain however, does not spot the windows as rain water is pure and does not contain dirt or minerals. It is a driving rain hitting a dirty window screen that will spot up a window!
What about my screens, grids or curtains, do I need to take them down?
While any assistance is welcome, it is not necessary. It does aid in the process though and many customers do prefer to help out, especially with the removal of window grids. It never fails that homes with window grids typically have at least one broken grid, or a bunch of clips missing. Typically, we can work around almost everything in the house! As far as the screens are concerned, if you have double hung windows, your screens must be unlocked from the inside. That being said, if your window service is for exterior only, we will need to be able to come inside and unlock the screens. If you are not going to be home during your service, please contact us for instructions on how to unlock the screens yourself, as many screens are designed to unlock from the inside.
